displayed in the landscaping
Painting
Taping off the stripes
Painting the stripes
we used vinyl for the stars
we used 4 coats of clear glossy paint for the sealer
drilled hole in top of each one and used wick
screwed square wood base to the bottom
displayed on the front porch

How about Veterans Day in early November? That gives you plenty of time to make this project.
