I love a novel where a house is a major them within the book. Just finished, The House On Tradd Street, by Karen White. Do you know of other books with a house as a theme within a novel. Please share if you do, as I love reading about houses. You can read more about the book and Charleston SC at my blog.

Becky, I don't think I ever read that book. I looked it up just now and it looks interesting. I think I will have to check it out. Typically I am not a great fan of older books, but every once in awhile I have to get out of my comfort zone, and this looks like it might be an excellent read.

Patty, I love to read so much that in the last few years I decided to read a book I'd gotten for my hubby, which he was sure he wouldn't like until his best friend told him he'd read the whole series. Now the series is something we both think of as near the top, if not the top, of our all time favorite series. Incase your interested, it's The Camel Club series by David Baldacci. http://davidbaldacci.com/books/camel-club/ He's also the author of the King and Maxwell Series that just became a new TV show. We both enjoy that series too. We've yet to find time to watch the show but I'm very happy with the actors that was chosen to play the two main characters.
