Step by step instructions to make your own director's chair canvas. This post is written for creating the canvas for a chair frame (when there was not an old canvas to use as a template)
Here's the before and after
Measure the back and seat of the chair to determine the size your fabric pieces will need to be
If the dowel rod is missing, measure your chair and cut a one for each side of your chair.
After cutting out the canvas for your seat, sew sup the sides
After cutting the canvas for the chair back, sew up the side and bottom seams
Assemble your chair and enjoy!
