Remodeled Kitchen
by
Gloria T
(IC: homeowner)
After retirement to our lake home, we wanted to update our boring all pine kitchen without tearing out all of our cabinets. I did not want everything to match, so I had some new ones added, a curio coffee garage, a new section for a copper farm sink, and wooden vent a hood. A bead board cabinet built around our refrigerator, lifted a section over my sink and had a plate rack built and had a new island built, made to look old with a stainless top .Bead boarded our bar with corbels and had granite put in.
Enjoyed the project?

Kris Lee on Sep 18, 2013Beautiful bar. Want to do the same on my own. However will be painting the "marble" for budget reasons. Would have liked it better if you would have put a darker stain on your existing cabinets. Seems to me they still seem "old"....But I still like the look and if you love it that is what matters.
