Reversible Scrabble Tile Coasters With a Pop of Color

Easy
These DIY coasters are great for protecting your furniture from water rings, but they are also fun, stylish and easy to make! One side looks like a scrabble tile, and the other is just stained dark with the fun pop of color. I cut the coasters out of an extra wood shelf and then painted on the scrabble style letters and numbers so they look like actual scrabble tiles. For more details, visit the link.
Add a letter and number to the light side of the coasters to make them look like scrabble tiles.
dress up coasters with some color on the edges.
The opposite side can be stained dark for a different look, but still has a fun pop of color.
use acrylic craft paint to add some color and interest to the sides of the coasters.
Seal your new coasters with some poly so they can last!
Cut out coasters from a piece of wood. Mine were about 4in. on each side and we used a circular saw to cut them out.

@Patty B these are not actual scrabble tiles, but coasters I made and then painted to look like scrabble tiles. They are about 4in on each side so they are plenty big!

I also thought they were actual scrabble tiles! You did such a great job; they look like the real thing!
