The ramp is 2"X6" treated prime lumber this was completed by myself and 5 more men in 8 hours.
Me taking a break and they got my picture.
House side is bolted to the brick with 1/2" redhead anchors and the posts are 24" in the ground with concrete around them.
Handrails are 42" high made from a 2x6 on top with 2x4 mounted under it to give 6" wide top and 6" high cap.
The middle rail is a 2x4 and there is a 4" toe kick at the bottom the slope is 1" per foot drop.

The height to length ratio looks great. As an Occupational Therapist I often have to educate Patients on how a ramp should be built. I see many poorly made ramps the are dangerous for pushing people in wheelchairs. Thank you for helping the people in your community. I don't know if the ramp is finished so my only suggestion is to put down traction strips, when it rains the wood will be slippery.
