Modern Designer Bathroom Renovation

Designer Davora Lilian knows her way around DIY renovations. When she purchased a foreclosed home, it was a given that she would work her magic on the master bathroom
This is a quirky space with interesting lines and ceiling angles that restrict what types of designs and fixtures are possible.
Davora knew she wanted a modern design, so she chose sleek Manhattan Charcoal Glossy 4x16 for both the shower stall and the vanity backsplash. The white grout lines showcase the angular nature of the tiles while adding geometric interest to the space. Because the wall directly in front of the vanity is slanted, Davora was not able to install mirrors there. She still managed to create a polished outline for the tile backsplash by using Schluter Trim.
Continuing in the white-grey-black theme for the room, Devora chose two paint colors: a dark grey and a white, which she used to augment the various angles in the space. The vanity countertop mixes the two shades, and the double vanity cabinet itself is a warm white. Gleaming chrome fixtures grace the sinks and shower stall, and the vanity drawer pulls add a spot of shine as well.
In keeping with the modern design, the door to the spacious shower space is transparent glass, which allows the design inside to be enjoyed from anywhere in the room. Niches in the wall hold shower products, and a wooden bench adds a touch of convenience.
Davora finished the room with tile flooring in a neutral tone and another helpful seating area and towel hooks right outside the shower. Her modern aesthetic gets a shiny spotlight thanks to the sunshine that streams in the various windows.
