You might want to try to spray liberally with vinegar and let sit for a while. Then use a cloth to wipe the vinegar (and dirt) off . Works for me!

Try a paste of baking soda mixed with white vinegar.Rub onto the soiled area and leave on long enough for the solution to break down the stain. Then use Mr. Clean Magic Eraser and clean as you normally do.

From my apartment renting days I found Scrubbing bubbles to be a miracle worker, but in bad cases a can of EZ OFF oven spray works great, I once used it to clean a commercial grade popcorn popper that had not been cleaned in 5 years ...gross years of build up burnt grease just melted away.

Sprinkle a generous amount of baking soda --dampen a sponge rub the area to loosen the stains a bit then take vinegar & pour some on top. Wait & let the mixture work for you...it will fizz. You made need to do this more than once....the longer you wait, the better. It's great for the glass on oven doors & cheap to make --no fumes!

I am in agreement with many of the others: Easy Off. It's terrific [I even use it on cookie sheets]. But an even better solution for every mess like this in the future: wipe up the mess immediately once it's occurred. The longer you wait, the bigger the problem. Why wait ... no greater time than the present.

Barkeepers Friend. It's a cleaning powder used with a damp sponge or cloth. It takes some elbow grease, but does a great job, from rust to baked on foods.
