Building a Bench Using an Old Headboard
I've seen several posts about building a bench using a headboard. I thought I'd give it a try and add my version to the mix! I used reclaimed lumber, a pocket hole jig, and a few brad nails to construct a stellar bench plus used a sample-size paint to seal the deal! this is a fantastic project for the porch, entryway, bedroom, or really anywhere! The cost is so minimal and you will be finished in no time!

I have been looking for a head and foot board with no luck been to a few thrift stores, even garage sales. will keep looking.

@Raul, look on Craigslist, Freecycle.com, other recycling sites, Goodwill, Salvation Army, Mission of Hope Thrift Stores. See if your local catholic church has a thrift store. Hope this helps.
