Make A Summer Styrofoam Wreath {from a Pool Noodle!}

Inspired by Shannon at Fox Hollow Cottage, I made this sweet summertime wreath for our front door with $5 in materials, 2 hours - and a pool noodle! I am pretty happy with how easy this turned out - and the splash of color it brings to our new blue front door.
The steps are pretty simple:
1. Assemble your materials ($1 noodle - or styrofoam wreath - .25 felt squares and old jeans or denim fabric).
2. Secure the noodle into a circle and cover in strips of denim.
3. Have fun making various felt flowers out of the different colored squares.
4. Glue the felt flowers to the wreath.
5. Hang on your door with a wreath hanger.
I found that making a front door wreath from a Styrofoam pool noodle was an easy way to spruce up our front door until autumn!
I love how my denim-and-felt wreath brings a fresh and welcoming look to our door!
The supplies needed are pretty basic: fabric, felt, packing tape, scissors and of course, the pool noodle.
It was fun to make the different kinds of felt flowers - and they were pretty easy.
I made rosette-type flowers as well as a mum style out of coordinating colors of felt.
This accent flower I decided to keep all blue, but used two different shades.
