Deadheading: The Beauty & Bane of Flower Gardening

I am a deadheader! Deadheading is removing spent blossoms from plants (mostly annuals) to encourage more blossoms and/or a better appearance. It's also time in the garden, outdoors, enjoying Mother Nature.
You can prune with a plant snips or shear like this one. A Fiskars.
You can pinch off the dried blossom between your thumb and forefinger. (My preferred method)
Bidens before deadheading.
Bidens after deadheading.
Remember to remove the dried bloom and the seed producing area of the stem.
Petunia before deadheading.
Petunia after.
