I love this. Saw similar elsewhere and forgot it. My problem with plates was they got mineral deposits from water. But a super idea.

Take those plates inside right away.....they are too beautiful to be in the yard. Hang them in an arrangement on a wall in the house. I have purchased plates at a thrift store and created a 'yard arrangement' too. I 'trenched' them into the soil and they stood up just fine. I selected plates which would match flowers where they were to be used. Love those plates!!
