Make Your Own Insect Repellent With Essential Oils

3 Materials
My husband and I love to sit out on our deck in the evening talking about our day. But summer time also means mosquito time at our house. I recently made an effective DIY mosquito repellent using essential oils. It smells nice too!
This mosquito repellent has a pleasant aroma and can be made much more cheaply than a store bought brand.
There are lots of oils that can be used but I chose lemon, peppermint and eucalyptus oils.
You can even print out a bottle label on my blog!
If you have problems with other insects, these oils may help. See more on my blog.
Suggested materials:

  • Witch Hazel   (Walgreens)
  • Rubbing Alcohol   (Walgreens)
