With so many cute designs of gift wrap while shopping the other day, seeing all these adorable patterns, I couldn’t stop thinking of what other things could I do with this adorable wrapping paper other than wrap present with it.
Do you remember how we use to cover our school books with a paper bag? This idea is really no different other than I covered a few of my favorite cook books with wrapping paper to add to my kitchen decor. Today I am sharing how to get the most from a roll of gift wrap while creating a farmhouse kitchen counter vignette.

Here is another idea on how to get the most from your gift wrap:

Supplies

Sponge brush
Measure and cut paper to size of canister

Apply pod podge to canister

Add paper smoothing it out along the way as you would as if you were applying wall paper

I also purchased some adorable mason jar magnets and glued them to the spines of the gift wrapped books and lined the galvanized tray as well.
