I have a large bathroom window with curtains. It slides open on the side where it exposes the clear glass shower. This means that I can't take a shower at night with the window open. Any suggestions?

Hang curtains wide enough to cover width of entire window. When showering pull curtain to cover open window. Can keep wide curtains tied back to let in air and light.

Use white or off white sheers. Use about double the number you would normally use. They allow the light and air in but, no one outside can see in. This worked for me with triple windows and a sliding door. Even at night with interior lights on, you cannot see in. Good luck.

Glass can be sprayed with frost. Sell it at home depot in spray cans.

You can also etch your glass which also makes it appear frosted. You could use a stencil with a design that covers a lot or most of the glass area you want to be a not-see-through glass) and use the etching medium to create the design ( just like you would to stencil a wall with paint only you are actually etching the glass which will not flake off.

I've used clear matte contact paper, it's cheap gives it a frosted glass affect and comes off easy.
