Upcycling old wash tubs and chimney flues

A dump find of old wash tubs and chimney flues and paint made a whimsical kitchen herb garden. In the winter I roll them inside and enjoy fresh/dried herbs all winter.

Thanx Becky you know the design rule is working in odd numbers - 3 large and 5 total...

Once again I am amazed at the HT posters! You folks keep me amazed and amused. I want to do one of everything! HA!! Keep up the good work! Actually my guys are at a neighbor's house digging up LARGE clusters of hostas for me. She has reached the age where she is trimming down her garden. They took bags of top soil to fill in her holes (this is only good manners! Never leave holes in the yard of someone who shares their plants with you!) We will sit them in the shade and water them...getting them all placed over the next few days!

I am an antique freak LOVE LOVE LOVE them. So could never do this even though I think it is very pretty. I have mine with the washer in the Laundry room set up with some antique pieces of clothing hanging over tubs and a towel coming through the washer for that looks like being used look.... I always ad old and new.

I have always loved this idea of planting. Now that I have health challenges it really helps me to be able to keep gardening. Thank you for sharing.
