Make Your Own Concrete Troughs

It’s easy to make your own concretehypertufa planters or troughs! My friend Cheryl and I had each heard about hypertufacontainer projects and been fascinated, but bothhad put it off for years as a ‘someday’ project. This would change today!
My playmate, Cheryl, and I get down and dirty, mixing the Portland cement, peat moss and perlite in 1:1:1 proportions.
We used a one-use cardboard box and reusable bowls from the dollar store. We used short sticks as spacers for drainage holes.
Voila! Succulents are the perfect plant for hypertufa,...they fill up every nook.

Im new at this but once I get established,I'm really wanting to make one or two the size of your galvanized tub you used in this post. What is the biggest you have successfully made? And what did you use as your form? Thanks! And any tips for making a bigger planter? Robin
