Blue and White Rooms.. a Classic With New Twists

Blue and white never dates but there's always something a little different to make the look really pop, depending on your taste, your home and your budget. I love it because its such a classic and can go from elegant to beach.. whether you've got the blue and white china to go with it or not.
Pale blue and white are such a strong color palette.
This pale blue and white room looks great with the addition of chocolate, soft creams and green in the mix.
You can start with some blue and white china on the table and add yellow, green or pink to add some interest
Adding teal and some pink to this blue and white room changes it completely.
Just a little gold on these navy walls and white ceilings make it look expensive and add glamor.
Traditional blue and white china look great anywhere and especially in this hallway where they are made the focal point. Warm golds and browns lift and balance the blue and white.
This strong blue and white color palette is relaxing beach decor.
Blue and white is great for any room including this bathroom. The hot blue frame and cabinet door handles make a big difference.

Just love those blue aqua shades together. So refreshing with just a hint of these colors in the wall paint and ceiling paint. Reminds me of the Caribbean, just so relaxing like waves washing up on the shore. Thank you for sharing these pics.
    • @Elizabeth Dwyer Simpson Thanks.. Caribbean..now that's somewhere I have never been and would love to go. Good suggestion Elizabeth.
