question for you. I did some lines on a wall, but even though I used painter's tape and made sure it was sealed good, I still got some bleeding. :( Did you have this problem at all? any suggestions? thanks.

I did get bleeding... if its textured its gunna happen.... I even got the good brand of tape and paint and still had a problem but... unless you stand and look for it its not bad....Good luck on your next project!

I guess it all depends on what the older brother is into and his age. Does he like cars, planes, trains, dinosaurs? Don't forget to make it age appropriate so that he can grow into it.Also storage is always an important factor like shelving and hooks on the wall. You can do a lot with that color scheme for a young man.Let us know what you decide.:)

if you make sure the grey has a nice blue cast to it it will look great as orange and blue are complimentary opposites on the color wheel and if you have a textured wall (or not ) the best way not to get bleed is to do the edges of the taped area like you are doing a stencil let dry for a hour the go back and paint this prevents bleeding

I like the color combination. An easy and fun way to work that combination would be paining the walls green and then use wall decals in solid brown. Look around the web for solid color wall decals. I've seen some awesome patterns. Some companies will even custom make them for you based on design you provide.
