I have just sheared my potted begonias so they will come back strong (i hope) :)
Something has appeared in the pot that looks something like a yellow mushroom???
Can anyone identify?

It looks like Leucocoprinus birnbaumii, which is common where there is rich organic soil and temperatures are warm, as I'm sure yours are right now. It's not hurting your begonias one bit.

Dana, these begonias are in pots & I shear them off anytime they start looking bad. They seem to bounce back very well when I give them a buzz cut! :) I keep them in the greenhouse during the winter & bring them back out in the spring. I have kept some begonias outside in the ground during the winter, mulched very well. Some came back & some did not. I am in zone 7B. I'm sorry but I do not know how to advise you on growing begonias in central texas. Thanks.

I have this same type of mushroom popping up in all of my outdoor potted plants. Some of them fan out quite large and then die.
