Do not spray blooms or buds with anything but water. Anything else harms and or destroys pollen badly needed for pollinating all other food sources for humans and for honey bees, and can kill the bees needed to do their jobs.

Mashed some garlic & put on a glass jar with water over night . Sift next day & put on a spray bottle with a small amount of dish washing soap. Spray early morning before sun is out or late afternoon. Spray every day for a week & later every other week or if you see that they are back

Use 1/4 cup Dawn dish detergent in spray bottle (old Windex bottle works), fill with water and spray white flies, mold or rust on flowers a couple times. Maybe more, depends on infestation. Worked on my Pyracantha bushes, too.

I spray the plant(s) with just plain water for first day or two. If that does not work I spray with insectilcidil soap as per their directions.

Often times you have a main source--like a host plant that they spread from. I worked in greenhouses for a while and they had an infestation because of this. I found the source under one of the planting tables on some weeds. So go hunting on your property because where there are few there are most likely many.

Just plain straight water is the best the white flies hate it, we get White Fly on our Citrus tree every year, they hibernate and breed over Winter, put the jet nozzle on your hose and squirt the hell out of them especially just on night fall after a week they will be all gone.

Just in case they are aphids, put about 3 Tablespoons of dawn in a little water in the bottom of an empty gallon milk jug. Shake it up, then fill jug! Then pour it over your plants. You can add dawn to your hose sprayer and do the same thing! My mother used to pore her dishwater over her plants! Aphids were gone quickly!

I mix 1 cup of water, 5 or 6 drops of dawn and a tablespoon of cooking oil. The oil helps the dawn stay on the plant and white fly.

The oil also smothers them and the eggs but you need to do it every 3 days for about 2 weeks to get a decent kill/control, you are more than likely best to use a proper horticulture spraying oil from your hardware/garden shop, that is the way we do it down under here in New Zealand, in fact I was out pruning my Mandarin tree today and found a fresh infection of the SODS, so they will cop it in the next day or 3, we are still picking them so have to be careful for the Grand Kids.
