One-Hour-or-Less Project:Sprucing Up Our Front Entry

I had time to spare - 2 Hours and counting: With house guests on there way over for a BBQ, I needed one hour to shower and get the food set up. Which meant I still had time for some DIY paint, a little dry brushing and a hint of gun metal glaze. Whaat? The full story and time to spare...

  • For this project, I used MMS Milk paint in Luckett's Green. I then added a dry brush coat of a custom blue I had on hand with a little Plaster of Paris and water. (See my not-so-secret Paris paint recipe for info on that) and then I simply finished the table and chairs off with a dry brush of Martha Stewarts Metallic Glaze in Gun Metal. On a side note; the set is outdoors but it's under a covered porch area so I feel confident it should hold up well. And, if a little chippy look develops over time...all the better. ;) Thanks for asking @AnaMariaGutierrez. Enjoy your weekend!
