How NOT to Make a Towel Rack

I'm a little bit upset at how my towel rack turned out. It's not that I hadn't made one before. I've actually made two: one for my porch and one for my family room. All you need is a piece of wood and whatever hangers you want to attach. I used 1x4 pine.
Here's my back porch rack. I used different hangers and even had room to mount our flashlight.
For my bathroom I measured the area and cut the board. Then I used a router to make a nice edge around the board.
Once I had the edge finished and sanded I painted the board white.
Originally I had planned on four hooks. I wanted the hooks to cover the screws used to mount the board. See the hooks above the rack? That piece was already in place. I had left the screws used to mount it because I didn't want to fill in the screw holes. What I didn't count on was the bullnose tile came out further throwing off my measurements. So as you can see the rack is centered between the tile and window casing, but not under the original rack above my towel rack. Ugh!
See my dilemma? I thought about adding a robe hook on the left, but I would still be left with an uneven space. My only solution is to start over by either cutting the towel rack shorter using the existing hooks and also properly centering the rack above it. Or getting another board ready that would hold four hooks and, of course, centering the rack above it (the mistake from the start). Right now not up to doing it! So, when doing your projects be sure to measure and make sure EVERY THING IS CENTERED!
It's not horrible, but it isn't right! Hoping others will learn from my mistake.

It's functional, but it bugs me that it's off. Some day I'll redo it---just not today. Ha, ha!
