Yard fountain

This is a fountain we made from a whiskey barrel, and old gold pan and a tea pot. This year I adorned it with a metal sculpture. I change it slightly every year. It sits outside my window and greets all my guests and I just love it.

This garden spot looks very lush. Nice water feature and I like your plant choice. I have a very large Vietnam rain barrel, with plants(water grasses) a pump, at the front entrance. So nice to hear the water music..Many ways to make a water feature..

Here are a couple of pics I took of the fountain base. Everything is entirely hand fabricated. The tea pot has been tapped and threaded and the fountain tubing runs up inside the pipe that supports the tea pot. The pipe was an old piece of gas pipe that was bent with a pipe bender. The flanges were tapped into the block.

Yes Carol, there is a small fountain pump with tubing threaded up through the pipe and into the tea pot.

Julee S Thanks for the instructions, this is an awesome project for those of us that love the water sounds and don't have room for a full fledged pond.... Love the look and already have the teapot...LOL
