The paint on the floor of my front porch which is made of treated tongue and groove is peeling.

What is the best way to remove the peeling paint and how should I prepare the wood before repainting? Should a primer be put down before repainting?

Pressure washing should remove the flaking. A scraper might be needed. Sand, a power sander saves a lot of work. Then use an exterior primer before you paint.
