What is this pretty blue flower. It is a volunteer in my garden. I live in the Pacific Northwest.

I don't recognize it, but the square stems indicate it is a member of the mint family.

campanula bell flower. Cups and saucer variety. It's a biennial that only flowers in the second year.

well I am not sure but based on the answers that are here the one I would say makes the most sense is the blue cardinal flower.

Blue cardinal flower as I first stated is a biannual. It will reseed in a different location just like foxglove does.
