From Coffee Table to Bar Table in Two Easy Steps

I took a fairly simple construction coffee table, removed the legs and cut new, longer legs from 2x2 lumber. I added some cross bracing and voila! Easy peasy bar height table from a coffee table that was too big for my living room! See my blog for details: http://designdreamsbyanne.blogspot.ca/2012/0...
Time: 1 Hour Cost: $10 Difficulty: Moderate

Great idea...it fits perfectly! So many kitchens are small but needs that special space for a bowl of cereal of work space!

What a neat idea! Thanks Anne. I'm sure I'll be able to use this in my furniture refinishing and repurposing business.

I did a painting for our daughter that the background looks similar to your table top.
