OK FBL (that would be Fish Bowl Lady) lol!! Giraffe tables, NOW THIS??? You have a whole zoo thing going on don't cha??? Giraffes, Zebs, Leopards -where's the elephant?? Awesome as always - please DO NOT send me one of these cause I'll be packing to move in w/U!!! What did you do to the inside???

One technical question here - you "primed" - using what kinda paint? Is Kilz something appropriate for this kind of thing???

The heck with storage! I'd travel with them. For sure they couldn't be confused with anyone else's luggage, and that's a plus!! Just adorable.

Bwahaha....Susan! Yep..you could use kilz...but I just sanded them lightly and used latex paint. A far as the inside goes...I took black and painted there. It really kinda looks like patent leather...and old suit cases sometimes have a funky smell....this takes case of that! =)

Thank You!!! Yes...I've been meaning to do a tutorial on painting animal prints. I'm also considering writing an e-book on some of my paint techniques.

Can you give a little advice on how to do this, now?

What is it that you need to know? The animal print technique...Or just how to paint on the suite cases? As far as painting the cases, just be sure you either sand it...or prime it prior to painting. Without a lengthy tutorial my main advise is to look at lots of pictures of the prints. It will give you an idea how to draw them. Just make sure your stripes/spots are random....that is the biggest key to making them look realistic. Sometimes I believe that "cartoony" works better....personal/project preference.
