Space between fridge and wall

I have a space between my wall and fridge that's 9" wide and 35" deep. I really don't want or need another pantry. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do with the space?
P.S. it's a farmouse style kitchen.

Most people use the extra space for pantry good. How about wine storage?! Or check the link out: http://www.killerbdesigns.com/reversible-storage-boxes-for-the-6-cube-shelf/

How about simple wood shelving to store boxes of cereal? Nail 1 x 2 bds on both walls and screw mount a wooden shelf on top the 1 x 2. Wouldn't hold a lot of weight, but cereal doesn't weight much. I have the same space.

If you seriously do not need or want any pantry space then why not just slap a cover panel on and be done with it?

I echo Danielle's comment. Perhaps you don't need another pantry, but I've found if I have the space, I'll fill it up. There must be things you rarely use. Saw this on Pinterest. https://www.pinterest.com/pin/297096906647471351/

I made a rolling pantry and put it in this usable space. We use it for medicines and vitamins etc. you can make it for canned goods, staples, whatever! I can't figure out how to attach the pictures or instructions ... :(

The refrigerator needs air circulation, not clutter. especially not medicines & spices. those need to be kept cool

How about a place to store your broom, dustpan, & mop? Or if you have pets, a place for their food, dishes, leashes, etc.

Shelves can have so many functions. If you don't need any more pantry space now you can fill them with art, cookbooks and other books relevant to the kitchen, plants, so many things. I'm sure that if you put them there, you'll find things to store or/and display.

If you don't need the space can you order a filler piece and have it professionally installed just counter deep? I'm thinking of you having it installed along the side where the wall is next to fridge, I'm assuming your fridge is at end of counter next to wall.

This space is where I store my step stool and broom, dust pan, and carpet rake.

the fridge vents from the back and bottom. it's pulled away from the wall in the back and the medicines are away from curious eyes and moisture from the bath. perfect for me
