Besides, I needed a mug for the Oct. challenge!
I justify my compulsion by going on 1/2 off day.
Wash my goodies & determine what looks best for the HOMETALK Oct. challenge. Out came the E6000 glue.
Started by using E6000 to the small vase because I needed to secure it inside the cavity of the wide mouth vase.
Lodged it into place, & dried it over night.
This vase was just too wide for my plans. Now it's perfect. The rod it will sit on, will be able to hold it.
Now I rough up the "connection" spots a little before I glue, with some sandpaper. Wash off the dust particles, start glueing the saucers to the mugs, the vases to the bottom of the saucers. Add some pressure while it all dries 24 hrs.
Now some birdseed, a piece of rerod in the ground, or any old handle will do, to the length you like. Added to my other feeder. The birds haven't found these in time for the Oct. challenge yet....
But once they do, they'll be happy little campers.
The larger one can be a birdbath.
They'll be all over them soon!
Just had to show my windowsill with a few other treasures I found that day.
