Got Milk???? or better yet, GOT FLOWERS?

Using a milk can replica for my theme, I then painted terra cotta pots to resemble black and white cows. This planter is in the flower garden by the driveway to welcome our guests and family. Thanks to hubby who dug the hole for the rebar, poured the concrete and came up with the milkcan idea. Come to think of it, I really didn't do much except paint and plant. LOL, thats ok, we make a good team

If that planter gets any taller you're going to have to prune!

LOL @ Doug. I've planted cascading plants, so no worries.

Thank you all for your compliments. I like doing something different in my home/yard. LOL, and this is different.

You've so many different ideas/styles for making these. I think you should create an aisle/walkway with your original staggered pots either side (like one would use sculptures) for all to enjoy while strolling through your garden.

Are they all supported by a stake of some sort or are they connected some other way?

Edith, My hubby digs a 2 ft hole, puts an 8 ft piece of rebar in it, pounding it down about 2 ft, then pours concrete into the hole. After it has set for 24 hours, I do my pots.

Becky, lol, I don't know if I could come up with that many ideas :-)

This is great! I bought a gizmo to hold up the pots like this but I never thought of putting them and putting them in something else as well. What imagination!

That rebar must have been 20 feet long. Did you have to use a ladder? YES.

Or maybe you climbed the tree? Yes, it is different.

The rebar was 8 ft. long. We buried about 2 ft in concrete. This is actually 66 inches high. Didn't need a ladder, and, lol, certainly didn't climb a tree. Here is a photo of the first flower totem that I did, which is in my front yard, using a Chinese Garden Seat as a base.

LOL, thank you. This year has been an extremely busy one in the "Art Deptartment" The older I get, the more important it is to put all the personal touches on our home/property. For years I just didn't have time, now I'm making up for it.
