    You should have posted this as a "guess what this is?" It would have fooled me as actual stained glass.

    @Steve - for sure! I looked at the picture b 4 I read that it was a quilt! @Paula - Jeeminy Christmas, you paint & sew. What other talents are you hiding my dear. You just keep draggin them out one-at-a-time!! This is fabulous!!

    any stained glass pattern will work but I drew my own on craft paper. The base is muslin and you cut the pieces out of fabric and Wonder Under. Iron onto muslin base and use an iron on bias tape. After it is ironed on, sew over the center of the bias tape and sew on a border, use batting and add a backing, then quilt over some of the bias tape again. I hope this explains the process a little

    OMG!! WONDER WOMAN IN OUR MIDST!!! So just how come one single person is packed with all that talent?? You're a Muralist, a Quilter and a professional Baker!! All the good genes from your parents musta been filtered straight to you!! You're amazing!! ;~)

    PS - THANKS FOR THE SIZE on the quilt too!! Do you sell your creations, or better yet have appreciative kids,grandkids, nieces etc?? Ya know, just for the record I am available for adoption!!
