Bathroom Design & Décor

Bathroom project

The bathroom my 3 kids share needed updating from the original 1989. The walls were yellow-ish, there was no place to store towels or soaps, no place to hang towels to dry, and the cabinet was stained, ugly mis-matched wood.

After! I made a new window curtain from my massive stash of fabrics. New floor towel and soap storage unit, too.

After! Live Laugh Love cast and wrought iron hooks. They arrived dark brown so I spray painted them black.

After! My son wanted the door the same colors as the rest of the bathroom. Hooks added to the door.

Looks great. Did the kids help? And how are you going to make them keep it that nice and neat?

Thanks! The kids helped with the color choices, the prep, and with the first coat of paint. They also got to pick out which drawer pulls they want, as they each get their own drawer or door. My daughter picked out a great big "diamond." :) The 11yo boy put together the towel/soap stand and cleans the bathroom as a paid chore. The other bathrooms, too.
