Make A Custom Sized Throw Rug With Upholstery Fabric!

by Mary B
Using a worn throw rug as a base, you can turn a remnant of upholstery fabric into a decorator inspired custom rug. The project is simple and takes minimal time or skill. If you can use an iron and a glue gun, you can do this!
This rug is the designer version and it costs $200..YIKES!
This is the Sweetwater version and it cost $7....YEAH!
Just fold the edges over the old throw rug that you have cut to size.
Iron the edge flat and glue those down. Easy to pull off when the rug needs to be laundered...then glue it back together when it is clean.
