How to fix a bathtub leak for under $20

Hi Everyone,

My latest plumbing adventure dealt with a bathtub leak that went into the dining room below-no fun. I was able to fix it using some detective work, plumber's putty and drain wrench. The step by step tutorial is on my blog as of today.

If you're interested the link is http://www.homerepairtutor.com/bathtub-drain....

Hope you have a great weekend.

Thanks Miriam, I love the Hometalk community. Everyone always has great tips and suggestions. My last post/question was fantastic-the one about removing mirrors and cutting them into separate pieces. I'm definitely going to use all the advice that was given, and I feel like a good way to reciprocate is to document the process.

I know, it's so interesting to see the topics people really care about. Old mirrors in bathrooms is one of them. I'm looking forward to seeing what you do!
