I get great morning sun on my porch, I'd like a good outside hanging plant which will be happy with no afternoon sun

Sounds like a question for a good nursery in your neighborhood. Your climate is so different from mine that I would probably send you down the wrong path. -
Morning sun+afternoon shade+humidity sounds like a recipe for fuschia happiness. Give them a try. -
