Industrial Fan Kids Stool DIY

When I came across this industrial fan wheel, I knew that it would make a perfect upcycling project for a boy's room! With a few pieces of leftover wood, it turned into an amazing and simple to make stool.
This is the fan wheel before being cleaned - it was coated in a light colored dust and tons of fuzz.
I used a scrapper to remove the caked on layers of dust and fuzz followed up with a quick wash.
I measured the bottom and top of the fan wheel and using some leftover wood, cut two circles for the bottom and the upholstery base. A few holes drilled into the wheel allowed for me to attach the pieces.
I used a 3" piece of foam and some vintage car fabric to complete this project. You could always add casters to the bottom.
Full details are on the blog and this bad boy is for sale in my shop!
