this weekend project

Another weekend project successfully executed. These were old frames that my Mom used for 2 art portraits she did in High School (not my favorites). One glass broke so I repainted the frames - covered foam core with leftover fabric from cutting down some curtains - inserted them into the frames - backed it with a 2nd piece of foam core and inserted cup hooks at the tops of each to hang necklaces on and again, it came out like I imagined it would.

I would be worried about the cup hooks coming loose from the foam boards. Did you do anything else to hold them in place like glue or a backing of some sort?

Well - the cup hooks screw in so they don't just slip out or pull out easily, but their tips poked through the two sheets of foam core so I placed a strip of leftover foam core over just the hook ends and secured everything with packing tape. I love packing tape, I use it for so many things.
