How nice to have a garden house. The colors you've used on it really make the garden colors pop. What a wonderful asset! -
What do you put on the Hydrangeas for those beautiful colors? Mine have not grown at all this year. Help. -
Your garden house is beautiful and so is your yard. Would you be willing to post more pictures of the inside?? -
A perfect little "runaway" place. So very nice. -
My husband just built me one and we are also into antiques. I would love to see pics from inside? It is precious! -
I WOULD LOVE 2 HAVE ONE -
Your garden house looks like the kind of plan I am looking for. Would you be willing to share where you got the plan for the shed? Is it purchased or a kit? I was so excited to view this photo! Thank you for sharing! -
Love it, my hydrangeas have lots of blooms but looks nothing like this. I baby mine, they seem to take forever to grow. -
Thanks to everyone who commented on my garden house .all.very nice comments . I very much appreciate it ! A couple of questions were asked so will respond to those ..We dldnt have a plan for this little garden house ...its just one room and all we dld was have a contractor build it the way we wanted with open rafters and board and bat siding ,,,i had them paint the inside all one color (willow green).its very light..i found the old windows and old sink in a junk yard ...my husband ...» -
My Papaw called my Memaw's Garden House her 'Pouting house'. (They both had one of their very own.) I loved them both, Memaw's had books, dried flowers and a cot and Papaw's had fascinating tools, a stool and smelled of oil. I was not allowed in Papaw's alone, it also had CANDY! -
@Connie C: What kind of hydrangeas do you have? It's impossible to change the color of some of them. -
Douglas ..This bush has been in the garden 6 years ..i really dont know its name ..i think the acid in the soil determines the colors you get on these blue bushes ...i do feed this in February and get more blooms in the spring .. -
@Elsie: Actually, it's the aluminum. You're lucky to have conditions that naturally give you such a lovely blue. -
Very nice get away for you..My many hydrangeas that are blue are all in acidic soil. Pink and red in sweet soil.. White ones don't seem to care one way or the other, although they turn green, every one of my garden club member want it:) -
Like u're Endless Summer plants -

This really does look like someone's little house! You did a great job, and I can understand why your granparents each had their own little "piece of heaven" while they were still with us. -

Susan ..We built this one oursellf...but if you look on line there are some i think are similar to mine ...i had in mind what i wanted and my husband did the plan and then worked with the contractor on it ...it is exactly the way i wanted . The windows and sink inside i found in a junk yard ...Thank you for your comment... -
