How to Make Frugal Plant Holders Out of Old Pans!

One of my favorite things to do is upcycle old items in to newer items. This is one of my "AHA" ideas. I turned my grandmother's old pots & pans into Frugal Plant holders.
Pull out those old pots..... That old tube pan would be perfect as a table top umbrella planter. The tube pan’s hole is the perfect size to put my outside umbrella through
Start with your favorite old pan. I used this scalloped bunt pan that my grandmother gave me.
Before adding your dirt & plants drill some holes for irrigation and I would also consider painting your pots if there are any specs of rust.
Fill with dirt, your flowers of choice and enjoy.

Making pots out of old pans. Did you have to drill out the hole in the pans to get the pole thru it?

Doesn't the metal get too hot in the sun for plants? And if you put holes in the bottom what do you put underneath to keep the water from running all over the table every time you need to water?
