With a CD, glue, some recycled jewelry, a shiny button, mirror pieces and glue you can have a nice "glitzy" sun catcher!
With a cd, I gathered my parts. The center was a pretty button, glued in the center. From there, I wanted to make a row of recycled gems from some fancy shower curtain rings.
The gems came out to be 9 around, so I made a line of mirror pieces from each out to the edge. That took 3 each.
I had some findings, but not enough to have nine total that matched. So, I decided I would leave one blank for the 'center' of the 9 to hang it from. Then, I flattened the findings, two styles, and made them four on the bottom and four on the top, two on either side of the blank space.

On the blank space, I put a little fairy and then a bail on for hanging it. I am sorry the shots in the window aren't great so I took one in the bathroom wall.

  • CD, mirror squares about 1/2" pieces   (eBay in 2010)
