My Favorite Tool

The sander has become my favorite tool in my kitchen re-do.
Take a look at this old china cabinet I dragged up from the basement and painted.
It's too perfect, don't you think?
After sanding it looks like it's been sitting in G'Mother's kitchen for years, getting nicked and worn.
Here is an antique mirror I painted with craft paint. I love the colour, but it was way too dull and un- interesting.
After no more than five minutes of sanding you can see the swirl details and the bevelling of the frame.
What a difference!
This was all done with my Black and Decker sander and a fine sanding pad.
I bought it on sale for fifteen dollars and I wouldn't be without it for my projects.
