Using Embossing Paste to Enhance Your Stencilled Project

For this project I used Fusion's Smooth Embossing paste, mixed with the colour, Sterling - a soft natural pale grey.

Stencil used is Fusion's Drawer 1 Stencil

After painting the drawers in Ash grey, letting them fully dry, I placed the stencil in the centre of the drawer and gently taped it down with painter's tape.

After mixing the Smooth Embossing Paste with a little Sterling grey, I used a spatula to lay the paste over the stencil, being very careful not to allow it to creep under the stencil design (bleeding). Smooth it out as much as you can very gently.

Then gently lift the stencil off the drawer and allow the embossed design to dry. Hop on over to my blog to see the full post including a step by step video tutorial.
