Face Lift on My Patio Carpet - Second Time Around

I had posted in the past on sprucing up my patio carpet. It was still in good condition, but faded since I didn't have a cover over my patio.
I repainted it with outdoor craft paint from the craft dept. Was an easy project, and below is the finish product.
Well this is how it looks this summer 2015. Back to the same ole faded look. I never used a clear protected coat to protect the paint. ;-/
I went to HD and ask at paint center and he pointed me to use this paint. He also said I didn't have to protect it.
I like this paint much better, it didn't go on as easy as the outdoor craft paint, this is a brighter more vivid color. I like it much better. Did it a couple hours at a time.
For now it's still has some life left. The upper left of the carpet has been unraveling a bit, thinking some critter did it is my take on it. That is where I have a table on it now, so you can't tell. For now, this will do. Paid about $10 for a can of paint, and a few hours that I didn't mind at all. Will do for now.
This is what I used. I also used small firm paint brushes that I had bought at Hobby Lobby a while ago for other projects, I just clean up the brushes afterwards.
