Dazzling Dahlias
Today I'm sharing some images of my dahlias. To me, they've got to be one of the most amazing flowers going. I learned recently that they were out of fashion for many years, but I noticed several of my favorite H and G magazines featured the dahlia this spring and summer. They are shining stars in the garden scape and on your dining room table. I garden in New England so I must dig the tubers up in the fall and store them over the winter. I didn't have much luck with that last year as I waited too long to dig them up. They were damp and rotted over the winter so I lost most of them. I invested in more this year. I can't imagine my garden without them! Do any of you fancy the dazzling Dahila too?
