  • Grass is receeding at the top of picture
  • The lawn has decreased 4" - 6" below the driveway, which needs to be repalced as well.

When it rains, the grass and top layer of dirt disappear.

Need help in getting it replaced and stopping it from happening. Can anyone give me step by step directions? a book that lays out the steps, a video or a class to take? H E L P

Bedroom: I have a bedroom closet that was "shortened" when the previous owner put a shower in an adjoining bathoroom. The doorway

is so thin I have to hold my breath and go in sideways.I need to hang clothes like in a real closet, but it would not be wide enough to reach the clothes in the back of the closset. What can I Do? Dimenwions 21" wide x 52" deep.

I want to thank everyone for your comments. I could not expand because of space limitations. ...»
What I did so is put up4 instaHangars at difent levels, added a double bookshelf, hanging thingy for guests and a chest. These provide a lot more space out side of the closet. Paul very good idea, but not enough room to get it out! Thanks everyone!

Baker Kitchen Remodel

This is one of my most recent remodel projects, boy I sure like working with quality products! These cabinets are African Mahogany, full overlay Euro style cabinets. This home is ...»
pretty unique, as the kitchen walls are angled at 60 degrees, rather than the usual 90, 45, and 22.5 degree angles. I always love a challenge!

"If anyone...Yamini has the design experience necessary to make you space work. More of a lay out and photos can help to determine what will work/."

Yamini, see attached pictures...

"It's the 21" that's killed the space as you say. James has a good idea but it's still not much of a closet. You can't have a shelf 0n the side it's to narrow. You can't expand that back wall? If you must really have it there. Or what about adding a closet? What do the other walls of your room back up to?"

Hudson Designs, Yeah 21" is cramped but it's the 13.5" door width that's making me stay on a diet. Expanding the back wall is not an option, because a bedroom is on the other side. I have a bookshelf and hanger thingy in the bedroom that helps but I want to usilize some space in the small bedroom closet to hang more clothes.

"Remove the door and take out enough of the front wall for bi-fold doors. Installing these door will allow you access to your clothes and the depth of the closet and the door width will no longer be an issue. At 21 inch deep closet will now be sufficient. I don't know what other options you have other than remove winter clothes on the larger hanger or get a wardrobe cabinet."

James A, this is a wonderful solution. I can do that, but still need space to hang clothes.

"Hi MA! What rooms or closets do you have behind or around this closet you are describing?"

Sean W, Behind this room is another bedroom, on the left side is the hallway and the right side is the shower that was installed taking the space away from the closet. Expanding in any direction would not be feasible.
