  • This is after our makeover from the street.
  • This is our front yard before. This is just to the right of the house; the only area that wasn't just grass.
  • This is the old concrete path from the other direction coming from the back yard to the front before.
  • And our new flagstone path we laid along with new garden along the path! So much better!
  • Going towards the back.
  • Laying out the plan...you can see here there was nothing along the property line before.
  • Help! This is our mailbox before.
  • And after! We added a border garden all along the property line to define our space.

Concrete Garden Path

We made this garden walkway with a mold that we purchased at Lowe's. We mixed the Quickcrete up and then poured it into the mold a section at a time. It was almost like making mud pies. It was a bit time consuming but we were very happy with the end result. It has held up very well as it has been down now for about 3 years.

Head on over and see I how I saved what I could of the wood on this Empire dresser makeover

I tried to save as much wood as I could on this empire dresser..The body was beat up but the drawers were perfect. So using some @cece caldwells paint I gave the base a coat of Smokey ...»
mountain and waxed and distressed her. I think she would make the perfect spot for a flat screen TV don't you?
