Painting: I bought Annie Sloan's soft wax in clear to put over the chalk paint, but I need to wax some of my pieces with a little

bit of dark wax. I don't want to buy another can of wax. Can I mix Minwax stain (dark walnut) with my clear wax to make a dark wax? Anyone tried this? Thanks for any input!!

Sorry...no such thing as DIY Chalk Paint®....only LATEX with added 'stuff'. Annie Sloan has ...»
the legal trademark on the term Chalk Paint and is thereby deemed the original and only. 23 years tested and made in Kansas City!

sorry Stephanie, but that is just LATEX paint with stuff in it...and toxic stuff at that! ...»
Plaster of Paris is nasty stuff..read the label. Chalk Paint ® decorative paint by Annie Sloan has no latex and is wonderfully smooth, fabulous and much more pigmented than wall paint. I'm guessing you have never tried the real stuff, because if you have you would know what I am talking about. Treat yourself and buy a little sample jar.......you will love it!
