Stencil on Table

I bought a tilt top table and it had a free style stencil applied to the top. The table is painted with Fusion paint and I hate the off centre stencilling on the top. How can I remove this?

The stencil is one of the new Tones for Tots stencils in the Fusion product line. It has also probably been painted with Fusion and I'd say the only way to remove the stencil is by sanding it back and repainting the whole thing. I can hardly even tell it is off center and I'd say not many people would unless they looked closely, especially if it is a side table with a book or a decor object place off centre on the table. I think it looks pretty, but that's just my opinion. All the best with whatever you decide.

I also like the look! The slight off center pattern gives the table a little character. It looks like a stylized chrysanthemum to me.

I would not change a thing. That is a very unique design and table.

If you have the stencil you could add more to the side that is bothering you.

The stencil is not meant to be centered. If you look at the table from the end that has the larger petals, it gives the perception of the flower opening up and some 3D type depth to it. I like it as long as the table is placed so the larger petals are viewed at the bottom. Great find.

I love the design as it is, I thought it was new with a lesson how to do it. M Y

Thank you everyone for helping me to decide to love it and not change it.
