A DIY Mason Jar Dining Caddy

We love to eat outdoors in the summertime but I hate hauling everything back and forth from the kitchen to the deck. So I transformed an old wooden "tote" into a dining caddy complete with mason jars with chalkboard labels. So simple and fun! I like this idea the only thing I would have done differently is to put the silverware in the jar upside down so that people would not be touching other peoples silverware when they went to get theirs.

It's best to either place a piece of cork in bottom of jar or fold a napkin and place in bottom of jar to keep cutlery from breaking the bottom....just saying.
